2023 State Award Competition: Drama
NSAL Arkansas invites actors to register for the 2023 State Competition in Drama
The Weekend Theater
1001 West 7th, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201
Saturday, March 11, 2023, beginning at 9 a.m.
Deadline to Apply: Saturday, March 4, 2023
State Winner will receive a cash prize and an All-Expenses-Paid Trip (travel, hotel, and conference registration) to the National Competition in Lexington, Kentucky, May 18-20, 2023.
The First Place Winner at the National Competition will receive $15,000.

2023 National Awards Competition in Drama
The National Society of Arts and Letters is pleased to announce the 2023 National Awards Competition in Drama on May 18-20, 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Contestants will first compete at the chapter level, then the winners of each regional competition will travel to Kentucky to compete at the National level.

The National Society of Arts and Letters invites performers to apply for the 2023 Shirley Rabb Winston Scholarship in Classical Voice. $12,000 in scholarships will be awarded. Applications are due to chapters by February 1, 2023. Please see the materials below for more information.
The 2023 Naomi Rabb Winston Visual Art Scholarship Application
The National Society of Arts and Letters invited artists to apply for the 2023 Naomi Rabb Winston Scholarship in Two-Dimensional Art. $12,000 in scholarships will be awarded. Applications are due to chapters by February 1, 2023. Please see the materials below for more information.
The 2023 Dorothy Lincoln Smith Classical Voice Competition
The National Society of Arts and Letters is pleased to present the Dorothy Lincoln Smith Voice Competition for classical vocalists, ages 23 – 31. A total of $10,000 will be awarded to winners. Please click below to read more about this competition and to apply.Smith, a past National President of NSAL and past Chairwoman of the NSAL Board of Trustees, is again generously underwriting this annual competition, which began in 2017.

Dominic Muzzi, 3rd Place, 2022 NSAL National Piano Competition, $8,000 prize
Dominic is an accomplished concert pianist, having attained over a dozen top prizes and gold medals in domestic and international competitions. He completed his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and received a Masters of Music from the Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in 2018. He is now enrolled in the Doctoral Program at IU, studying with internationally acclaimed concert pianist Roberto Plano and will graduate in May 2023 with his Doctorate in Piano.
